Pondering...

It's mid summer, I've worked a really hot, hot pepper show.  It was the "Pinellas Park Pepperfest".  Hopefully you've seen the video.  I was surrounded by hot sauce makers and thought I was totally misplaced.  What I figured out after a short while was to use that to my advantage.  I soon became "The Island of Calm in the Sea of FIRE!"  I was surrounded by hot sauce vendors.  Quite a few people were thankful to take a small sample of "Miraculoso Marinara" just to put out the fire.  Any excuse to sample.

I'm struggling with where to go for the summer.  I work around a lot of people who make their living from the sales they make at each market.  I'm not so sure I fit that mold.  I see myself as an advertising medium, out to create a customer base for some wise marketeer to bring in a superior product.

Until you try it,  you may critique all our efforts as run of the mill, but until you taste,,, well, I can only invite you to dinner at our house.  If you're in St. Pete., c'mon over for dinner.  You'll be (as my penthouse customer said this very day) "addicted."  I delivered sixteen jars to her to stock St. Pete., and she's going to order her supply for her condo in Chicago.

I don't make this stuff up.  If you can find a better sauce than mine, I'll taste it, spit it out, and pay you for it.  This is one of those rare recipes that has been able to make the transition from home to retail shelf.  I'm thrilled!

And Jay, may I say "Thanks".
